The All Whites have named their squad for their upcoming friendly match against Mexico to be played in Los Angeles. The squad is:

Tony Lochhead (Wellington Phoenix), Ryan Nelsen (Blackburn Rovers), Andrew Boyens (New York Red Bulls), Ben Sigmund (Wellington Phoenix), Tommy Smith (Brentford, England)

Midfielders
Andy Barron (Team Wellington), Leo Bertos (Wellington Phoenix), Tim Brown (Wellington Phoenix), Simon Elliott (San Jose Earthquakes), Michael McGlinchey (Motherwell), Craig Henderson (Mjllby AIF)

Forwards
Shane Smeltz (Gold Coast United), Rory Fallon (Plymouth Argyle), Chris Killen (Middlesbrough), Chris Wood (West Bromwich Albion)

Some selections of note include Rory Fallon, despite the fact he begged not to be selected, and Shane Smeltz despite the face that he is a treacherous dog who abandoned the Wellington Phoenix for the Gold Coasts blood money.
